Breastmilk: 10 - 30 ml is ideal. This can be fresh or frozen, if using frozen please ensure it’s defrosted before sending as condensation can rip envelopes and risk contamination or loss of your liquid gold. Wrapping both bags in paper towel will also help in the event of a leakage.

Loved ones ashes: 1 teaspoon of ashes in an airtight bag.

Hair: 3 - 5cm of clean, dry hair.

Flowers: Flowers are best sent dried in an airtight bag. We will craft your keepsake with fragments of the petals unless otherwise discussed. What metals do you use?

We craft our pieces with the utmost quality materials, insuring durability so that each unique piece can be passed down to family members. Each item will have the metals available stated. We only use Sterling Silver 925 or Gold in yellow, rose or white in varying carats.  Please check the listing for specifics. Stainless steel is also used in some pieces including IP rose and yellow gold.

What is IP gold (Ion Plating)?
Ion Plating is also known as IP plating (which would make it Ion Plating Plating!).  It is a Physical Vapour Deposition process or PVD.
Ion Plating is a process where the surface required to be plated is bombarded by atomic sized energetic particles.
As well as Jewellery and Watches, Ion Plating is used to deposit hard coatings onto tool blades and the like.
A common one you may have seen is the Black Coating on some Seiko Watches.
Experiments show IP to be 5 to 8 times more durable than conventional techniques.
In the Jewellery Industry IP is usually applied to Stainless Steel commonly in black, brown, rose gold and yellow gold colourings.
As the precious metals become more expensive, we will see more of this durable Jewellery alternative.
